Outer Joins

In data science, outer join is a type of join operation that combines data from two or more tables based on a common attribute and includes all the rows from one or both tables, even if there is no match in the other table. Outer joins are useful when we want to include all the data from one table, regardless of whether there is a match in the other table. There are three types of outer joins: left outer join, right outer join, and full outer join. In a left outer join, all the rows from the left table are included along with the matching rows from the right table. In a right outer join, all the rows from the right table are included along with the matching rows from the left table. In a full outer join, all the rows from both tables are included, regardless of whether there is a match or not.
