Sorting
Sorting is the process of arranging data in a particular order, either in ascending or descending order. In data science, sorting is an important operation that is used to organize data in a meaningful way. Sorting can be performed on various types of data structures such as arrays, lists, and databases. Sorting algorithms are used to perform this operation, and they can be classified into two categories: comparison-based and non-comparison-based algorithms. Comparison-based algorithms compare elements of the data structure to be sorted and determine their relative order, while non-comparison-based algorithms use other properties of the data to sort it. Sorting is a fundamental operation in data science and is used in various applications such as searching, data analysis, and machine learning.
