Attribute
In Data Science, an attribute refers to a characteristic or feature of a data object that can be used to describe or classify it. Attributes are also known as variables, fields, or columns in a dataset. They can be either categorical or numerical. Categorical attributes are those that have a finite set of possible values, such as gender or color. Numerical attributes, on the other hand, are those that have a continuous range of values, such as age or weight. Attributes are important in data analysis and machine learning as they are used to build models that can predict outcomes or classify data objects based on their attributes.
