Tailgating

Tailgating is a technique used in anomaly detection in which an attacker gains access to a network by closely following an authorized user. The attacker waits for the authorized user to authenticate and gain access to the network, and then uses the same credentials to gain access for themselves. This technique is often used in phishing attacks and can be difficult to detect because the attacker is using legitimate credentials. Tailgating can be prevented by implementing physical security measures such as access control systems, security cameras, and security personnel.
