POSIX Time
POSIX Time is a system for describing points in time, defined as the number of seconds elapsed since January 1, 1970, 00:00:00 UTC, not counting leap seconds. It is widely used in computer systems and applications, including data science and artificial intelligence, as a standard way of representing and manipulating time. POSIX Time is also known as Unix Time, Epoch Time, or Unix Timestamp. It is often stored as a 32-bit integer, which can represent times up to January 19, 2038, 03:14:07 UTC. However, it can also be stored as a 64-bit integer or a floating-point number for greater precision and range.
