Unix Time
Unix Time is a system for describing a point in time as the number of seconds that have elapsed since 00:00:00 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC), Thursday, 1 January 1970, not counting leap seconds. It is widely used in computer systems and applications to represent and manipulate dates and times. Unix Time is also known as Epoch Time, POSIX Time, or Unix Timestamp.
