Observational

Observational refers to a type of study in which researchers observe and measure the characteristics and behaviors of a group of individuals without manipulating any variables. In data science, observational studies are often used to identify patterns and relationships between variables, and to make predictions based on those patterns. Observational studies can be either cross-sectional, in which data is collected at a single point in time, or longitudinal, in which data is collected over a period of time. Observational studies are often used in fields such as epidemiology, psychology, and sociology to understand the relationships between different factors and outcomes.
