Carrier Wave

In data science, a carrier wave refers to a type of signal that is modulated with an input signal for the purpose of transmitting data from one point to another. The carrier wave is a high-frequency waveform that is modified by the input signal in order to encode the information being transmitted. This process is known as modulation, and there are several different types of modulation that can be used, including amplitude modulation (AM), frequency modulation (FM), and phase modulation (PM). Carrier waves are commonly used in telecommunications, radio broadcasting, and other forms of wireless communication, and they are an essential component of modern communication systems.
