Foreign Key
In Data Science, a foreign key is a field or a set of fields in a table that uniquely identifies a record in another table. It is used to establish a link between two tables and enforce referential integrity between them. The foreign key constraint ensures that the values in the foreign key column(s) of the referencing table must match the values in the primary key column(s) of the referenced table. This constraint helps to maintain data consistency and prevent orphaned records in the database. Foreign keys are commonly used in relational databases to create relationships between tables and enable efficient querying and data retrieval.
