In Data Science, shape refers to the dimensions of a dataset, represented as a tuple of integers indicating the size of the dataset along each dimension. The shape of a dataset is important because it determines how the data can be manipulated and analyzed. For example, if two datasets have different shapes, they cannot be combined or compared directly. The shape of a dataset can be determined using the shape attribute of a NumPy array or the shape method of a Pandas DataFrame. In addition, the shape of a dataset can be changed using various methods such as reshaping, transposing, or concatenating.
