Security process refers to the set of procedures and measures taken to protect computer systems, networks, and data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction. It involves identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities, assessing risks, implementing controls and countermeasures, monitoring and detecting security incidents, and responding to and recovering from security breaches. Security process is an ongoing and iterative activity that requires continuous evaluation and improvement to keep up with evolving threats and changing business needs. It encompasses various domains such as access control, authentication, encryption, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, physical security, security policies and procedures, and security awareness and training.
