Encryption
Encryption is the process of converting plain text or any other data into a coded language to prevent unauthorized access. In data science and artificial intelligence, encryption is used to secure sensitive data and protect it from being accessed by unauthorized users. Encryption algorithms use mathematical functions to convert the original data into a cipher text that can only be decrypted with a secret key. There are two types of encryption: symmetric encryption and asymmetric encryption. Symmetric encryption uses the same key for both encryption and decryption, while asymmetric encryption uses a public key for encryption and a private key for decryption. Encryption is an essential component of data security and is used in various applications, including online transactions, secure communication, and data storage.
