Role-based Access Control
Role-based Access Control (RBAC) is a method of restricting access to computer resources based on the roles of individual users within an organization. In RBAC, permissions are assigned to roles, not to individual users. Each user is assigned one or more roles, and each role is assigned one or more permissions. This allows for a more efficient and secure way of managing access to resources, as permissions can be easily managed at the role level rather than at the individual user level. RBAC is commonly used in large organizations with many users and resources, as it simplifies the process of managing access control and reduces the risk of human error.
