Parametric Tests

Parametric tests are statistical hypothesis tests that assume the data being tested follows a specific distribution, usually the normal distribution. These tests are used to compare means or variances of two or more groups. Parametric tests are preferred over non-parametric tests when the data is normally distributed and the sample size is large enough. Examples of parametric tests include t-tests, ANOVA, and regression analysis.
