Low-level Languages

Low-level languages are programming languages that provide little or no abstraction from a computer's instruction set architecture. These languages are closer to the machine code that a computer can understand and execute directly. Low-level languages are often used for system-level programming, such as operating systems, device drivers, and embedded systems. They are also used in performance-critical applications where every cycle counts. Examples of low-level languages include assembly language and machine code.
