Immutable Data

Immutable data refers to data that cannot be changed once it has been created. In other words, once a piece of data has been assigned a value, that value cannot be modified. This is in contrast to mutable data, which can be changed after it has been created. Immutable data is often used in functional programming, where it is preferred over mutable data because it is easier to reason about and can help prevent bugs. Immutable data structures are also useful in multi-threaded or distributed systems, where multiple processes may be accessing the same data at the same time. By using immutable data, developers can avoid race conditions and other synchronization issues that can arise when multiple processes try to modify the same data simultaneously.
