General AI

Unlike Narrow AI, which is designed to perform a specific task such as voice recognition, General AI can perform any intellectual task that a human being can do. It represents highly autonomous systems that outperform humans at most economically valuable work. The development of General AI is a central goal in the field of AI research, but it is also a subject of significant debate due to its potential impact on society. The concept of General AI is closely related to the idea of strong AI, a machine with the ability to apply intelligence to any problem, rather than just a specific problem, sometimes considered to require consciousness, sentience and mind.
