Analog Signal
An analog signal is a continuous signal that represents physical measurements such as sound, temperature, pressure, and light in a form that can be processed by electronic circuits. In data science and artificial intelligence, analog signals are often converted into digital signals for processing and analysis. Analog signals are characterized by their amplitude, frequency, and phase. Amplitude refers to the strength of the signal, frequency refers to the number of cycles per second, and phase refers to the position of the signal relative to a reference point. Analog signals are subject to noise and distortion, which can affect the accuracy of the signal. To minimize these effects, analog signals are often filtered and amplified before being converted to digital signals.
