Weight
In data science, weight refers to the importance or significance of a feature or variable in a machine learning model. Weights are assigned to each feature or variable based on their impact on the output of the model. The higher the weight, the more important the feature is in predicting the output. Weights are typically learned during the training process of a model, where the algorithm adjusts the weights to minimize the error between the predicted output and the actual output. In deep learning, weights also refer to the parameters of the neural network that are learned during training. These weights determine the strength of the connections between neurons and are used to make predictions on new data.
