Organic Light Emitting Diodes
Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs) are a type of display technology that uses thin organic films to emit light in response to an electric current. OLEDs are made up of multiple layers of organic materials sandwiched between two electrodes, with the top electrode being transparent. When a voltage is applied to the electrodes, a current flows through the organic layers, causing them to emit light. OLEDs have several advantages over traditional display technologies, including higher contrast ratios, faster response times, and lower power consumption. They are also flexible and can be made into curved or even rollable displays. OLEDs are commonly used in smartphones, televisions, and other electronic devices.
