High-Throughput Screening

High-Throughput Screening (HTS) is a method used in drug discovery and other scientific fields to quickly and efficiently test large numbers of chemical compounds or biological agents for a specific activity. HTS involves the use of automated systems to rapidly screen thousands or even millions of compounds in a short period of time. The goal of HTS is to identify potential drug candidates or other biologically active molecules that can be further studied and developed into new therapies or research tools. HTS typically involves the use of robotics, microfluidics, and other advanced technologies to perform assays and analyze data. The data generated from HTS experiments is often analyzed using machine learning and other computational methods to identify patterns and relationships between compounds and their activities.
