Correlation
Correlation is a statistical measure that indicates the extent to which two or more variables are related. It shows the strength and direction of the relationship between the variables. Correlation can be positive, negative, or zero. A positive correlation means that as one variable increases, the other variable also increases. A negative correlation means that as one variable increases, the other variable decreases. A zero correlation means that there is no relationship between the variables. Correlation is often used in data science to identify patterns and relationships between variables. It is commonly used in predictive modeling to determine which variables are most important in predicting an outcome. Correlation does not imply causation, meaning that just because two variables are correlated does not mean that one causes the other.
