Causal Effect

Causal effect refers to the relationship between an event (the cause) and a second event (the effect), where the second event is a result of the first. In data science, causal effect is used to determine the impact of a specific variable on an outcome of interest. This is done by comparing the outcome when the variable is present to the outcome when the variable is absent. Causal inference is the process of drawing a conclusion about a causal effect based on the data available. This is often done using statistical models and machine learning algorithms. Causal effect is important in many fields, including healthcare, economics, and social sciences, as it allows researchers to determine the effectiveness of interventions and policies.
