Apache Hadoop
Apache Hadoop is an open-source software framework used for distributed storage and processing of big data using the MapReduce programming model. It consists of a distributed file system (HDFS) that provides high-throughput access to application data and a framework for the parallel processing of data using a cluster of commodity hardware. Hadoop allows for the distributed processing of large data sets across clusters of computers using simple programming models. It is designed to scale up from single servers to thousands of machines, each offering local computation and storage. Hadoop is widely used in big data applications such as log processing, data warehousing, and machine learning.
