802.11 Standards
802.11 is a set of standards for wireless local area networks (WLANs) developed by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). These standards specify the technologies for wireless communication in the 2.4, 3.6, 5, and 60 GHz frequency bands.
