Thermal Conductivity

Thermal conductivity is the property of a material to conduct heat. It is defined as the amount of heat that flows through a unit area in a unit time when there is a temperature gradient in the material. In other words, it is the ability of a material to transfer heat from one point to another. Thermal conductivity is an important property in many fields, including materials science, engineering, and physics. It is used to design and optimize heat transfer systems, such as heat exchangers, and to understand the behavior of materials under different thermal conditions.
