Lossless Compression
Lossless compression is a data compression algorithm that allows the original data to be perfectly reconstructed from the compressed data. Lossless compression is commonly used in situations where it is important to preserve the original data, such as in scientific data, medical records, and legal documents. One of the most common lossless compression algorithms is the ZIP algorithm, which is used to compress files on a computer.
