Electroencephalography

Electroencephalography (EEG) is a non-invasive technique used to record electrical activity of the brain. It involves placing electrodes on the scalp to detect and measure the electrical signals generated by the neurons in the brain. EEG is commonly used in clinical settings to diagnose and monitor various neurological disorders such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, and brain injuries. In addition, EEG is also used in research to study brain function and cognitive processes such as attention, memory, and emotion. The data obtained from EEG recordings can be analyzed using various signal processing and machine learning techniques to extract meaningful information about brain activity and to develop predictive models for various neurological disorders.
