Cloud computing is the delivery of computing services, including servers, storage, databases, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence, over the internet (the cloud) to offer faster innovation, flexible resources, and economies of scale. Cloud computing provides on-demand access to a shared pool of computing resources that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort. It allows businesses to avoid upfront infrastructure costs, and focus on projects that differentiate their businesses instead of infrastructure. Cloud computing services can be categorized into three main types: Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS).
