SOAP
SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) is a messaging protocol that allows distributed systems to communicate over the internet. The envelope contains a header and a body, which can contain the actual message data. SOAP also defines a set of rules for handling errors and exceptions that may occur during message exchange.
