Linear Relationship

Linear relationship refers to a statistical relationship between two variables in which the change in one variable is associated with a proportional change in the other variable. In other words, as one variable increases or decreases, the other variable also increases or decreases at a constant rate. This relationship can be represented by a straight line on a scatter plot. Linear relationships are commonly used in data science to model and predict outcomes based on input variables. The strength of a linear relationship is measured by the correlation coefficient, which ranges from -1 to 1, with values closer to -1 or 1 indicating a stronger relationship.
