Hyperparameter Optimization

Hyperparameter optimization is the process of tuning the parameters of a machine learning model that are not learned during training. These parameters, also known as hyperparameters, are set before training and can have a significant impact on the performance of the model. The goal of hyperparameter optimization is to find the optimal combination of hyperparameters that results in the best performance of the model on a given task. This process can be done manually by trial and error, but it can be time-consuming and inefficient. Therefore, automated methods such as grid search, random search, and Bayesian optimization are commonly used to efficiently search the hyperparameter space.
