Hash Table
A hash table is a data structure that stores key-value pairs in a way that allows for efficient insertion, deletion, and lookup operations. It works by using a hash function to map each key to a unique index in an array. The value associated with the key is then stored at that index. When a lookup is performed, the hash function is used again to find the index where the value is stored. Hash tables have an average time complexity of O(1) for insertion, deletion, and lookup operations, making them a popular choice for implementing data structures such as sets, maps, and caches.
