Distributed Hash Table

A Distributed Hash Table (DHT) is a decentralized distributed system that provides a lookup service similar to a hash table. Each node in the network stores a subset of the overall hash table, and nodes communicate with each other to find where data is stored. DHTs are commonly used in peer-to-peer (P2P) networks, content distribution networks, and other distributed systems. They provide a scalable and fault-tolerant way to store and retrieve data in a distributed environment.
