Amplitude Shift Keying
Amplitude Shift Keying (ASK) is a digital modulation technique in which the amplitude of a carrier wave is varied to transmit digital information. In ASK, a binary 1 is represented by a high amplitude carrier wave and a binary 0 is represented by a low amplitude carrier wave. ASK is a simple and cost-effective modulation technique, but it is susceptible to noise and interference. ASK is commonly used in applications such as RFID, remote controls, and wireless data transmission.
